I dropped out at grade 11 because and could not complete further studying of financial problems at home. The Al-Fidaa Foundation Sewing Skills Program provided me with an opportunity finally to better myself. The program is professionally designed as it is SETA accredited. I went from the basics to manufacturing garments in the 6 months. After completing I continued to practice from home and respond to job opportunities. I was fortunate to find permanent employment at a local ladies boutique store in Sherwood, Port Elizabeth where I provide seamstress duties. On weekends I design and manufacture jackets and dresses for my pnvate clients.
